I have always loved photography and composing a good image, but becoming a mother reinforced the importance of beautiful family portraits to me. I love taking photos of my kids, but I, like many moms, am rarely in the photos. I believe in the importance of including the entire family in the photos and making everyone comfortable. You don't have to be a model, but I want you to walk away feeling like one!
My professional photography experience began working in news. As a reporter at a television station in eastern North Carolina, I was required to film and edit many of my own stories. I believe capturing those candid moments and interviews has prepared me to get a perfect mix of posed and genuine moments of your family that you will be happy to frame and see in your home for years to come.
